Forum international de la diaspora au Mali: le Burkina partage son expérience en matière de mobilisation de ses ressortissants
Du 16 au 18 juillet 2026, le Burkina Faso a pris part à la IIe édition du forum international de la diaspora à Bamako en République soeur du Mali, à travers une délégation conduite par la camarade Bêbgnasgnan Stella Eldine Kabré, ministre déléguée auprès du camarade ministre des Affaires étrangères.
Placée sous le très haut patronage de Son Excellence le général d’Armée Assimi Goïta, Président de la Transition, chef de l’Etat, cette édition a eu pour thème : « Diaspora malienne et investissements productifs: bâtir un Mali économiquement fort et durable ». Ce forum organisé sous l’égide du ministère des Maliens établis à l’Extérieur et de l’Intégration africaine, a connu une forte participation des investisseurs de la diaspora malienne et du secteur privé. Son objectif est de promou-voir et de soutenir les investissements des diasporas du Mali et des autres pays frères de l’AES dans leurs pays d’origine, de favoriser les partenariats économiques, et d’encourager le transfert de compétences.
Il s’est agi d’explorer les voies et moyens d’orienter ces investissements vers des projets structurants et des investissements productifs, afin de faire de la diaspora, un levier stratégique pour le développement endogène et durable. Il se présente également comme une véritable opportunité de réseautage et d’échanges, ainsi que de partage d’expérience. Aux côtés des autres ministres de la Confédération des Etats du Sahel (AES), la camarade ministre déléguée a participé au panel de haut niveau, de même qu’aux différentes rencontres des ministres de la Confédération sur la gouvernance de la diaspora et la participation de celle-ci au développement national.
Ce forum a été une tribune pour le Burkina Faso, de partager son expérience en matière de gouvernance migratoire et de présenter ses acquis dans le domaine de la gestion, de la mobilisation et de l’organi-sation de sa diaspora…
